Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson cannot see the board sacking Rafa Benitez this season.

Benitez is under huge pressure after Liverpool's FA Cup exit at the hands of Reading this week.

But Lawrenson says: "If you take Gerrard and Torres out of the team, then it is ordinary. A lot of people are saying Rafa should go but I don't think he will."
