Ezequiel Lavezzi says Napoli must not dwell on their dropped points against Novara.

The Partenopei had to fight back in Novara to earn a 1-1 draw with Blerim Dzemaili's late strike.

"I think that after their goal we tried to give our best. We wanted to win the game, but were only able to equalise. We got it wrong with a couple of chances that should've been goals," said El Pocho.

This result leaves Napoli nine points off leaders Udinese, though the gap could get bigger if Juventus beat Roma on Monday.

"There's a long way to the end of the season, so if we win three or four games on the trot then I still believe we can catch the top clubs. I have faith.

"Tonight we did everything we could to win, but were only able to get a point."
