Ezequiel Lavezzi has urged Napoli fans not to get down over recent results.

Napoli were in second place and three points off leaders Milan before running into two consecutive defeats.

"We are still having an historic season," Lavezzi told Argentine radio.

"It's only normal that there's a little unhappiness after two defeats on the trot, but we must not let our heads drop.

"Nothing can cancel out what we have achieved up to this moment. We sent an entire city crazy with joy. That seems like a lot to me."
