The agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi has hit out at Napoli over their handling of new contract talks.
"I find myself in Madrid. I am here for work, but I don't just have Lavezzi as my client," Alejandro Mazzoni told calciomercato.com.
"I have still not had one signal from Napoli. The club, no, Marino, has carried out a very precise strategy - that of arriving at the end of the season without maintaining the promises made to Lavezzi.
"I don't think that we will here from them. I have never seen anything like this - a club receives an offer for a player and doesn't sit down at the table to discuss it.
"They didn't even ask the player for what he thought about it. I find it incredible. It's been a week now that they haven't responded to calls from Lavezzi," Mazzoni revealed.
"This is the behaviour of Marino. I think that De Laurentiis doesn't really know about everything that has happened.
"He has only been able to hear Marino's version of events, but I think to complete the picture he should hear the other version - that of the player.
"I have confirmed many times that they can own his contract, but not his desires, thoughts and feelings," Mazzoni concluded.
