Martin Laursen has hailed the winning mentality of Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill.

The Denmark defender told Villa's website: "He's definitely a winner. I think he's got problems with himself when we're losing and he doesn't like that.

"He wants to do well and he's got big dreams for this club and we feel that.

"That's why we're responding so well when we go a goal behind, that we come again and are able to come back and get a point or three points because our leader (O'Neill) is a good example to follow.

"A leader should always be a good example and that's why a leader is so important. He makes the example and we all follow. That's a good thing definitely."
