Cameroon international Lauren insists that he has no plans to leave the South Coast, despite seeing limited playing time at Portsmouth this season.
With just over a year remaining on his current deal, though, Lauren insists that he won't look elsewhere for first team football and praised the defence he has struggled to infiltrate.
He told The News: "To get 22 clean sheets in a season is fantastic - the defence has been tremendous.
"Because of them we should end up in the top six of the league and they deserve the credit for that.
"I haven't been playing a lot and that is down to them, they have been outstanding. It has been so, so difficult to get in the side ahead of them.
"The backbone of this side has been the defence.
"I've had some injuries so you can't be consistent and focused and be 100 per cent, but I plan to be next season.
"I have got one more year left and am not expecting to move. I want to play in Europe here."
