Former Real Madrid star Michael Laudrup has warned Martin Odegaard against joining the club.

The 16 year-old Stromsgodset midfielder is in talks to sign for Real this month.

"Ødegaard? I'm not entirely convinced that joining a club like Madrid would be the right move.

He is 16 years old, I cannot imagine seeing him playing right now in Real Madrid or Bayern Munich," Laudrup Merkur. "If hr were my son, I would advise him to go to Holland."
