Michael Laudrup is urging fellow Dane Dan Agger to quit Liverpool.

Spartak Moscow coach Laudrup, who handed the 24-year-old his debut at Brondby, has been happy to make his advice public.

"I hope Daniel can come to a club where he can play regularly," he informed BT.

"First and foremost, for himself, but also for the national team, which very much needs Daniel to play.

"Daniel has ended up an in annoying situation. But the competition in clubs of that level is fierce."
