Michael Laudrup is set to meet with Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins.
The South Wales Echo says it is thought the Dane - who has managed in Spain's La Liga at Getafe and Mallorca - will meet Jenkins this week in Cyprus, where the Swansea chairman is currently on holiday.
Laudrup's brand of attractive football would appear to fit in with the passing Swansea philosophy, which was first preached by Roberto Martinez before Rodgers steered the club first into the Premier League and then secured an 11th-placed finish in the top flight.
