Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup fears missing out on Wigan Athletic striker Arouna Kone.

The Mirror says Laudrup advised the Swans to meet Wigan striker Kone's £6.5million release clause as soon as the Latics went down.

But Swansea failed to act quickly and Laudrup is now worried 29-year-old Kone could be tempted elsewhere with Everton, Liverpool and Bursaspor interested.
