Michael Laudrup must assure Scott Sinclair at Swansea City in one of his first acts as new manager.
The Daily Star Sunday says the ex-Chelsea starlet, 23, has only one year left on his current contract and is yet to extend his stay.
Sinclair played a massive role in Swansea's emergence among the Premier League elite and has hit 27 goals in 80 league appearances.
But he is reportedly unsettled by the departure of previous boss Brendan Rodgers, now of Liverpool.
Whether Laudrup's surprise appointment is enough to ease his concerns and persuade the former England Under-21s ace to put pen to paper on a three-year deal remains to be seen.
