Laudrup dissatisfied with Swansea's Europa loss

Swansea City are through to the Europa League group stage proper but that doesn't mean Michael Laudrup is a happy camper.

The Jacks were beaten 2-1 by Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti in the away leg of their playoff qualifier and the Danish tactician hinted that the side was lucky they had the 5-1 first leg win behind them to help see them through 6-3 on aggregate.

"We are definitely not pleased with that," said the Swansea boss.

"We are happy to go through and I thought we would after the first leg but once more we have seen what can happen if you don't take chances when you get them.

"We knew they would go out and press us because they had to in front of their own fans after a result like last week.

"They took a lot of risks and we knew we would have a lot of counter-attacks but we did not finish them. They were huge chances.

"It's fantastic to go through, but we should have done better."

Njongo Priso opened the scoring for Petrolul in the 73rd minute before Swans substitute Roland Lamah levelled a minute or so later prior to Hamza Younes heading home the 83rd minute winner.
