West Ham United striker Andy Carroll faces more delays in returning to first team action.

The Daily Mail says Carroll's return from injury has been delayed due to his rapid weight loss following a stomach illness.

He lost around half-a-stone due to stomach bug.

The England striker will now have to spend more time on strength and conditioning work in the gym before he can return to first-team training.
