Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has won a late call to the Italy squad.

The youngster replaces Roma ace Daniele de Rossi, who suffered a fractured cheekbone playing against Inter Milan on Sunday.

Montolivo hasn't been named in the squad since his disappointing displays at the Confederations Cup.
