Las Palmas striker Jese refused to seek excuses after their 3-3 draw at Real Madrid.

The visitors blew a 3-1 lead in the final five minutes.

"Real Madrid is Real Madrid and if there is someone who can tie you up from losing 1-3 it is Real Madrid," said Jese.

"I think we played a great game but they are very good, they make centres so close to the goal, they combine, it's very difficult, I'm left with the feeling that we are going home and we have not lost. Good for our confidence."

Goalscorer Jonathan Viera added: "We got a draw in a complicated field. As the game was set, we should have won. We had to keep the ball, not let them feel comfortable ... A pity."
