Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez has cast doubt over a deal for PSG striker Jese.

PSG are willing to offload the former Real Madrid striker and a move to hometown Las Palmas was favoured.

However, Ramirez conceded: "He wants to come to Las Palmas, but has a salary commensurate to their level and we can not match it.

"There are important clubs in Europe who are willing to pay the full salary. So we are at a disadvantage and therefore will have to wait."

Among those "important clubs" are said to be Liverpool and Valencia.
