Kevin-Prince Boateng is leaving Las Palmas.

Boateng has reached an agreement to rescind his contract with the club, .

"The player will hold a press conference at Estadio Gran Canaria, at 17.00 hours this evening alongside president Miguel Ángel Ramírez when he will bid farewell to the fans", Las Palmas' statement read.

Boateng had only renewed his contract with Las Palmas in May, signing a deal which would have kept him at the club until 2020 but he is now leaving for 'personal issues'. According to Las Palmas, the midfielder will be looking for a new club where he will be closer to his family.
