Atletico Madrid are set to send Vitolo on-loan to Las Palmas.

Atletico are closing a deal for the Spain midfielder with Sevilla, though cannot register him to play until January 1 due to this summer's transfer ban.

Las Palmas chief Toni Cruz has confirmed Atletico are sending Vitolo on-loan to them for a six-month loan.

"(Atletico director Miguel Angel) Gil Marin has spoken with our president and it has simply been communicated that Vitolo will be a player of UD Las Palmas until January, nothing more," confirmed Cruz.

"There is no anger from Atletico regarding us making this announcement."
