Juan Laporta remains tightlipped on his plans to run for the Barcelona presidency.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has brought forward the elections to this summer.
Former president Laporta is expected to run, but has yet to declare his hand.
"The decision will be announced when the elections are announced," he said after delivering a lecture on corporate governance in Girona.
"We should focus on encouraging the team, we are involved in three competitions and the feelings are good. That's what should matter now. For everybody to help and support the team."
