Joan Laporta is ready to make a new bid for the Barcelona presidency.
With pressure from Agustí Benedito moving against president Josep Maria Bartomeu and calling for new elections, Diario Gol says Laporta is ready to stand.
Laporta already has squad planning drawn up, which would involve a clearout and a new raft of star signings.
The likes of André Gomes, Lucas Digne, Paco Alcácer and Arda Turan would all be shown the door.
And in their place would arrive Marco Verratti (PSG), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), David Alaba (Bayern Munich) and Paulo Dybala (Juventus).
Laporta is in constant contact with Lionel Messi and is personally distraught seeing the Argentine star carrying the weight of the crisis club on his shoulders.
