Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta has taken fresh aim at the current board.

Laporta, speaking with Sport, says he feels "strong enough" to take charge of Barca again.

He declared: "I am very sorry to see that they are destroying the model that has made us great. They do not know how to carry out the transfer of players, they are squandering the few years that could remain glorious because we still have (Lionel) Messi."

In regard to the Argentine, Laporta said that "it was incredible to see that no one from the club accompanied him at court, we would have all been there, by his side."
