DiarioSport says despite fresh speculation linking the Dutchman with Chelsea, he and president Joan Laporta are close to an agreement which will see him remain at the Nou Camp until 2010.

Laporta wants Rijkaard to remain in charge for his entire reign as president, which is obliged to end in three years time.
