Manuel Lanzini has revealed that he is honoured by the interest shown in him by Liverpool.

Lanzini joined West Ham United on a season-long loan deal from UAE side Al Jazira during the summer and the midfielder has managed to impress by putting in a host of quality performances.

As a result of Lanzini's fine displays, the Argentine has been linked with a permanent move to giants Liverpool.

The man they call 'The Jewel' has now gone on to reveal that he is proud at the fact that Liverpool have shown interest in him but insisted things are going well for him at West Ham.

Prior to Sunday's clash with Tottenham, Lanzini told ESPN FC: "I heard the president say that the club wants me to stay.

"I am fine here. It's an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me, but at [the] moment I am focused."
