Davide Lanzafame faces a battle to break into the Juventus first team, admits his brother and agent, Giovanni.

Juve have recalled Lanzafame from Palermo for the new season. He is co-owned by the two clubs.

"The deal between Palermo and Juventus demonstrates how much the Bianconeri believe in Davide," Giovanni Lanzafame told Streamit Goleador. "The player can now not be transferred away.

"There is no chance that the player can go anywhere until January. Juventus want to give the player every opportunity to play for his future.

"Davide now has to work hard. Whilst no one has ever earned anything for free, you need more than good performances at Juventus. You also need a coach who believes in you and your abilities.

"The society has already given him faith, now it is up to the player to repay them."
