Lansbury happy with Arsenal progress

Hot Arsenal prospect Henri Lansbury admits his game has improved remarkably in recent months.

The midfielder played for England at the U17 World Cup in South Korea and this week was on the bench for Arsenal's Carling Cup defeat of Newcastle United.

"The past few months have definitely improved my game," Lansbury told arsenal.com. "Training with other players from other clubs on England duty was good to see what I'm up against.

"The Carling Cup was a really good experience for me too. It is nice to be in that environment, seeing how the top players prepare for a game and to see what their build up is like.

"Hopefully it will happen again. If the boss thinks I'm ready, than that's excellent. Until then I will just keep working the way I have been."
