Langerak performance thrills Dortmund boss Klopp

Borussia Dortmund manager Juergen Klopp was full of praise for young goalkeeper Mitch Langerak on the weekend.

The 24-year old Australian goalkeeper was deputising for Roman Weidenfeller when he made a couple of vital saves in Dortmund's 2-1 German Bundesliga victory over former Melbourne Victory teammate Robbie Kruse's Fortuna Dusseldorf with his performance delighting the boss.

"I am really happy with the game, Mitch pulled off a series of saves," said Klopp.

"If we had conceded a goal at the end of the game, it wouldn't have been undeserved."

Langerak, who joined Dortmund from the Victory in May 2010, has made a total of six Bundesliga appearances as well as three in the German Cup since his arrival at the Westfalenstadion.
