Frank Lampard would be happy for Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho to return to Chelsea. The midfielder believes his best chance of staying at the club is with his former manager at the helm.
A source close to Lampard told the Daily Express: "Frank's future at the club is still uncertain, but he has always said he wants to remain at Chelsea.
"Frank would love Mourinho to return, not only to rekindle the glory days but it could also seal the deal in terms of his own future. He has said he would love to stay on at Chelsea in a coaching role once his playing days come to an end."
