Frank Lampard says he and Chelsea captain John Terry will make sure new gaffer Guus Hiddink has the full support of the players.
Lampard told The Sun: "JT is the captain and I am vice-captain. I hope the fans sense that we hurt like they do and we take responsibility for trying to put things right.
"When we are not top of the league or a few points off it we will try and get everyone going and put that right because that's our nature.
"Hiddink is obviously a top manager and he's had great success with club sides and international sides.
"He is very technical and seems to like a typically Dutch method of playing football - so it will be interesting to work with him.
"I have huge respect for Phil Scolari and Jose Mourinho and I have been very lucky that I have had huge respect for every manager I have worked with.
"It will be the same with Hiddink but the players need to respect the manager and perform for him."
