Frank Lampard feels Roberto di Matteo deserves the Chelsea job full-time.
Di Matteo is only in temporary charge at Stamford Bridge following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas but is certainly making a good case to be considered for the role full-time.
Lampard said: "That's a decision for the club in the summer. Whether they want to speak to Robbie or not I don't know but I can't speak highly enough of what he's done.
"He's come in and boosted the confidence, he's talked to people in the dressing, got the best out of players and asked for the simple things to be done right.
"He loves the club, you can see the passion he has in team meetings and the fans have reacted very well to him. And you can see the response he's got from the players too."
