Lampard has no intentions of ending Chelsea career

Frank Lampard has made it clear that he does not plan to walk away from Chelsea anytime soon.

The 34-year old midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has also been heavily linked with a January departure, quite possible to MLS champions LA Galaxy.

But after becoming the Blues highest goalscorer in England's top division on Sunday, Lampard says he is only thinking about the short-term with Chelsea and not entertaining the fact of going anywhere else.

"No, I'm not concentrating on that far ahead," he told Sky Sports 1 following the 8-0 drubbing of Aston Villa.

"I'm under contract here. I'm going to keep going game by game. I love playing here. I'm pleased to be fit and I will keep trying to enjoy my football.

"I believe I have a lot in me to go.

"I don't want to get too deep. The club's position is their position. I'm here to play football to show people what I can do."
