Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has hailed the England form of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Rooney has been outstanding for England this World Cup qualifying campaign.

"Wayne is very fit and fresh," said Lampard. "When he is playing like that, he is a world-class talent and he makes a difference. When you have players like that in your team, with his energy and enthusiasm, it rubs off."
