Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard may miss more than just the Manchester City match because of his hernia injury.
The England international has been out of action since August 31 and was supposed to be right for the City clash at Eastlands on the weekend but is in danger of missing that along with a further two Chelsea matches on one international fixture.
Lampard has experienced difficulty in recovering from a hernia operation and may now miss the October 3 derby with Arsenal plus the Champions League clash with Marseille as well as England's Euro2012 qualifier against Montenegro on October 12.
