Frank Lampard hopes his goalscoring record at Chelsea lasts forever!

Lamps believes his total could last for another 50 YEARS - unless the Blues sign Lionel Messi smartish.

Lampard, who met Bobby Tambling face to face at Stamford Bridge yesterday, told The Sun: "Unless we sign Lionel Messi in the next year or so, I think I have a chance of keeping it.

"Especially if I can push it on a few more in the future.

"So, yes, it could last a while, especially considering the modern game.

"The old players stayed at clubs longer, had more associations with their clubs than they do now.

"But if in five to 10 years someone breaks it, then I hope I can pass it on with as much grace as Bobby has to me."
