Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says there's a big change in preseason training under Carlo Ancelotti compared with his predecessor Luiz Felipe Scolari.
He told chelseafc.com: "It [training] has changed this year. We did quite a lot of running without the ball last year, this year there is a lot more running with the ball and a lot more football based stuff.
"That's something players always want to do, especially if they can bring something new into their game.
"From the first day I came back we were playing small-sided games, keeping possession and working with the ball, so there has been a nice mix of working hard and playing football."
Also being a regular in the England side, Lampard has ambitions beyond his club.
There has progress with the England side since Fabio Capello's appointment, and Chelsea's number 8 believes the next World Cup may be his nation's time for success.
"We have improved massively under Fabio Capello over the last two years, but we will need to have our best players fit, we will need to be on good form and we will need a bit of luck. There are so many factors involved.
"But I certainly feel if you put the top five teams together who can win it going into the tournament, one of that five would be England."
