Frank Lampard is happy to put new contract talks at Chelsea on-hold - courtesy of bonus clauses in his existing deal.
Lampard, 29, was on a basic £95,000 a week but received a massive pay rise this month and another one will follow next July, when he will have just a year left on his contract.
Lampard's rise has brought him much closer to the £130,000 a week earned by Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack.
Lampard's agent Steve Kutner insisted there was no rush to sign a new contract.
He told the News of the World: "If Frank had wanted to get away from Chelsea he could have easily done it by now - but of course he hasn't.
"That's because he is 100 per cent happy and totally committed.
"There's three reasons for that. First, he loves Chelsea and he wants to stay. He's even just bought a new house by the training ground.
"Secondly, Frank has a great relationship with the manager Jose Mourinho and feels confident about his position at the club so is not worried or insecure.
"Thirdly, he is very happy with his current contract and very relaxed in the on-going talks about a new, longer-term deal.
"As part of his existing contract he has just received a sizeable escalation in his salary.
"And that will be repeated on July 1 next year to keep him there, even if a new deal has still not been agreed."
Kutner reckons Lamps will stay at Stamford Bridge for a great deal longer than the next two years.
He said: "If it does go all the way to the last day of his current contract, one thing's certain, Frank will not waver in his commitment to Chelsea.
"And the day after his contract is up my money is on him sitting down to talk with the club about staying for even longer."
