Lampard admits playing frustration at Man City

Frank Lampard admits he'd like to have played more for Manchester City.

He has not started a league game since December 13, when he scored the winning goal at Leicester, and admits that he would like to have turned out more, especially given his impact since joining City.

"At times maybe I've not had as many minutes as I'd want, even though you are aware as you get older you can't always do so much," he told the Manchester Evening News. "I feel fit, I've scored some goals and been part of the team.

"I'm enjoying the new challenge. It was a surprise and a test for me. I was very comfortable in London. I've been welcomed amazingly. From the minute I've come here they've made it easy for me. I've a real appreciation for the club."
