Former Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi is happy for Gervinho over his new deal with AS Roma.
The former Arsenal attacker penned new terms this week.
Lamouchi told TMW: "And he will continue to do well: there was early skepticism about him, few people knew him and could not imagine that he could adapt to Italian football.
"Now he's settled very well in Rome, has the confidence of the club and the fans - he needs this.
"He's giving his best, but still has not reached his maximum potential."
