Erik Lamela is hoping to follow the recent trend at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentine attacker is eager to sign a new contract with Spurs, after seeing the likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose pen long-term deals with the North Londoners.
"I would like to [sign a new deal] because I am very happy here," said the 24-year-old.
"I feel part of this team which is improving. I have a group of excellent team-mates and I feel very good around them.
"It would make me happy to play for more years in this shirt. Will I be the next to sign? Let's hope so."
Lamela has been in solid form this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in 14 outings in all competitions.
