Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela says their Europa League clash with Fiorentina is more important than Sunday's Capital One Cup final.

With this year's winners of the Europa League earning a place in the Champions League next season, Lamela insists they can't take it lightly.

He said: "The final? That's another game - but not as important as tomorrow.

"It will be a very difficult game. We will have to play our game and our way of football but we are confident we can.

"It will be an open game. Both teams will go at each other and try to win the game. Both teams have a chance to go through. We have to do our best and hopefully it will be us."
