Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert says they face Southampton in good shape.
Lambert is confident of testing the high flyers.
"They've started the season really well although I'm pretty sure their bigger tests will come when they play the big teams in the coming weeks," said Lambert.
"You can't take anything away from them, though, they've started the season well.
"But if we do what we've been doing in the last two games we will certainly give them a game, that's for sure.
"I was happy with Tottenham - albeit Christian was sent off. And West Ham we were definitely worthy of a point."
