Lambert proud of Norwich after win at Bolton

Norwich City boss Paul Lambert hailed his players after victory at Bolton Wanderers.

Lambert hailed his side's resilience after goals from Anthony Pilkington and Bradley Johnson at the Reebok Stadium shattered a 17-year hoodoo.

He said: "I just got told about it (the record) the other night. I don't really bother about things like that because I wasn't here.

"I've never had a problem with confidence. They seem to bounce back whether they draw or get beaten, and that is testament to the way they played today."

Lambert made six changes to the side beaten by a single goal at home to West Brom last weekend and insisted his decision to make such wholesale changes had been vindicated.

He added: "Sometimes you have to make these decisions. I explained them to the lads and they know exactly why I've done it. They have been brilliant about it."
