Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is delighted with the progress of his young players.
Lambert continues to look at the "bigger picture rather than the small view" after his team ground out a point with a goalless draw at West Ham.
"You've got to see the bigger picture rather than the small view.
"I just knew if they could see last year through that it would do them the world of good. They're getting better and I've got nothing but praise for them and the way they're progressing.
"I think it comes from within themselves. They believe they can do it. They're good players - I see it every single day.
"It's just having that belief that they belong in that company. I think last year what they went through, allied to this year, they've certainly progressed a lot, lot further and a lot quicker than I thought they would."
