Lambert not panicking over Villa scoring drought

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert isn't panicking over their lack of goals.

The last time Lambert's team found the net in the top flight was Andi Weimann's winner in the 75th minute of the 3-2 victory over Manchester City in late September.

Since then they have drawn 0-0 at Hull, lost 2-0 at home to Tottenham and Everton and played out another goalless draw at West Ham.

"I've got no worries about us taking chances," said Lambert.

"I can't be too hard. We're creating chances. I'd be sitting worried if we weren't creating them, but Christian Benteke's always been a threat, so has Andi Weimann.

"I think we had the three best chances of the game and on another day they go in.

"There was Andi's in the first half when the goalkeeper's made a good save and then Christian's header and shot.

"This is a difficult place to come at the best of times."
