Ricki Lambert is delighted for Southampton teammate Sam Gallagher after he struck in victory over Norwich City.
Lambert hailed teenage Gallagher, who after turning out for Scotland at youth level made his England under-19 debut earlier this month.
"He has great promise. He is an absolutely great lad," said Lambert. "To see him get his first league goal, it was brilliant.
"I am made up for him. He has done absolutely superbly since he has joined us. He has gone from strength to strength and I think his potential is limitless."
