Lambert delighted after deserved Norwich win

Norwich City boss Paul Lambert was full of praise for his players after today's 2-1 victory over QPR at Loftus Road.

The Canaries came from behind with the help of a Joey Barton red card in the first half to record their sixth win of the campaign courtesy of goals from Anthony Pilkington and Steve Morison and the result delighted Lambert who feels his side deserved maximum points.

"I thought the lads deserved to win the game," he said.

"We started really well and got a foothold, then QPR scored against the run of play, but we kept on going.

"It is relentless, but we have coped brilliantly to this time.

"The lads have been great, they seem a really close group and we are all in together.

"We will take one game at a time now, and if this club survives in its first year, it will be monumental for us."
