Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert admits any new owner would see his position in doubt.
Villa chairman Randy Lerner is said to be in talks to sell the club.
Asked how it would affect his position if a new owner did take control of Villa this summer, Lambert replied: "Listen, if a new guy comes in and doesn't like you...
"It's not something I've ever thought about it, I just want this club to stay in this league.
"I've not been a part of that.
"Randy will no doubt speak to me, but as far as I'm concerned, I want to be here."
