Adam Lallana admits he can't believe just how quickly Sadio Mane has settled at Liverpool.
The Senegalese forward has scored four goals and provided four assists in his first nine matches for the Reds since arriving for £34million from Southampton in the summer and teammate Lallana says it has been a seemingly easy transition for the 24-year-old.
Asked if it appears the club's new signings have settled quickly, Lallana told Sport Magazine: “Definitely.
“I sit next to Sadio in the dressing room and I can't believe how quickly he's got into his rhythm.
“He's the Sadio we played against last season who was so good against us – especially at St Mary's.
“Comparing it to myself, when I came in, it probably took me a bit more time to settle. So credit to him, because it's never easy coming to a big club."
Lallana also touched on defenders Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan who also arrived at Anfield in the summer.
He added: “And it's the same with Matip and Klavan – they've settled in well, too. It is easier when you're getting good results, so hopefully the team have played their part in helping them."
