Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is out of the England squad to face Lithuania and Italy after suffering a groin injury in his side's 2-1 defeat by Manchester United. Lallana was substituted at half-time in Sunday's game after the problem flared up.
It means he will miss Friday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania and a friendly in Italy four days later.
The England squad were due to meet at St George's Park on Monday.
