Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana is desperate to prove his value to gaffer Mauricio Pochettino.

Lallana has recovered from a knee injury and could make his first start since December 8 against Manchester City today.

The midfielder said: "I have been itching to get back. I am fully fit and eagerly hoping to get some time from the start. It was frustrating because you want to get out there and prove to him your worth, really."
