Former LA Galaxy GM and US international Alexi Lalas has slammed Freddie Ljungberg. While commentating on the MLS Super Draft on ESPN, Lalas stated that "Eddie Vedder of Peal Jam would have a better chance of making an impact at Seattle Sounders than Freddie Ljungberg".
Lalas went on to say that ex-Arsenal star Ljungberg, who has signed for Seattle Sounders, is "broken" and although a great player would make little impact for Seattle in 2009.
